American International University–Bangladesh co-organized the 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Education (ICSE 2026) through the Office of Research and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, held on 05 August 2026 at the Mandarina Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Education and Liberal Arts (FELA), INTI International University, Malaysia, and hosted by the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), Colombo, Sri Lanka. Under the theme, "Reimagining Inclusive and Future-Ready Education: Innovations, Technologies, and Transformative Practices," the conference brought together researchers, academicians, educators, policymakers, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange ideas, present innovative research, and strengthen international academic collaboration in sustainable education. The collaboration was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Asif Kamal, Department of English, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS).
Reflecting AIUB's strong commitment to academic excellence and research-driven innovation, faculty members and students from different departments of FASS successfully presented nine research papers spanning diverse disciplines, including educational technology, English language teaching and learning, mental health, sociolinguistics, political studies, student engagement, academic motivation, and higher education research. Through these presentations, AIUB researchers shared evidence-based findings, engaged in scholarly discussions with international participants, and contributed to ongoing conversations on developing inclusive, technology-enhanced, and future-ready educational practices.

Participation in ICSE 2026 provided AIUB researchers with an excellent opportunity to disseminate their research, exchange perspectives with scholars from different countries, and establish new avenues for academic collaboration. The conference emphasized the importance of innovative and inclusive educational practices while encouraging interdisciplinary research that addresses contemporary educational and societal challenges.
